We
are creating a mini forest near Hesaraghatta in a protected land of 2.5 acres
with numerous species including few uncommon and western ghat species (See the tree list at the end). The area
consists of 2 man made lakes to harvest rain water and all pits are
interconnected with water lanes. Pits have been dug already. Each tree will be tagged with Tree ID and
donor’s name. Trees will be guarded and saplings will be maintained for 3
years.
This event also marks our 5th year being an Environmental group in Bangalore and planting around 1500 trees so far in this journey.
This area will not used in later stages as
park, resting, entertainment purpose.
The products of the tree are not sold for profit. You can visit the
location in later stages for progress.
